Nice vid Ced. Once again, you deliver. BTW your car sounds sooo sweet when you went wot. What exhaust mods do you have exactly? I only have an Eismann sport and it's no where near that aggressive sounding (still have rasp too, but I like that). Also, I am strongly considering the rear diff this month mainly for better acceleration from a dig. Was it as big improvement as everyone is saying? TIA

i heard the vette do maybe one downshift and roll on the throttle. u have no idea were u 2 line up from, u race around a corner where the vette completely lifts.

Have you driven both or raced with your car both? Sorry, but if you raced both with your car it is a poor comparison and in no way accurate. There is no question Ceds car was pulling hard, it might not be a perfect scenario but better than your comparo. BTW what color was the S2...there is only a few full S2s in western wa. and I think I know most of the guys with them.

Thanks! That's the Dinan Exhaust w/ Eisenman section 2 pipes, Larini GT sports cats, and BMW Motorsport Euro headers.. The diff is very nice...but I tell you once you get that air coming into the motor w/ mods, release that air is more than icing, it's more like the cake :-)... I think it's how everything works together as a system...

The stock M3 and C5 (manual) are basically equal in speed...

Mystic is waaay lighter, Carbon looks black from even a short distance. We did a full blown Mystic S2 at our dealership, I think it was the 257th one done in the US. Anyway Ceds car has alot more mods than an S2 even.

i saw euro headers and SS mid pipes over s2 setup. 10-15 rwhp at best.

dinan says an s2 will run 13.2 at 108, c5 vettes have been know to run 13.0-13.3 @ 107 or more.

not enough power adders to run away from a vette like he does in the vid. vette was in wrong gear, had problems, scared of cops etc.

OMG, I am sorry Serious but you are way off. Stock M3 have been known to run 13.2 and under. Who cares what is published, Ceds vid is real world and that's what matters. This puts all speculation to rest. As far as mid corner stuff, well, drivers make a HUGE difference and you should know this. Again, the vid isn't perfect, but it does prove a point better than anything else I have seen/heard/read. BTW headers and high flow cats are big power adders at 8,000 + rpms.

Driver is so much a part of the equation. Member "12:03" and I in a new 645i pulled on my own e46 M3 with "MZG" driving, it was from a dig no less and the 6er definately isn't faster than an e46 M3. Heck, Silverstreak ran his ZHP 14 flat in the 1/4 without slicks or an lsd (a better time than any published figure I have ever seen). Ceds vid is running from a roll taking some driving skill out, this especially shows how his car matches up to a C5. Serious, give him credit....his car is insane.

Real real nice M you've got there and awesome kill but a stock/near stock C5 is not match for a well modded M3, especially since it was a slush box.

Does the 7800.00 cover labor also or is there and additional charge for the install?

you can do the parts ala carte, prices are less for your model for they are priced differently... Labor is not included in those prices. Keep in mind that dealership can give you discounts; so shop around. I got quite a few discounts (as I did mine ala carte), but not on stuff like the diff and TBs because they are low volume items.
