I was reading a 300zx forum and found this
I have a 1992 300zx n/a 5-speed, my friend has a 1993 bmw 325i four-door 5-speed. We were crusing around one night and decided to have a go. So the light turned green and we both launched great, before I got out of first gear he was half a car length in front of me. I got threw second and he was about 2 car lengths ahead. Then it stayed that way till 85 then he started walking. when I got to 110 he was a good amount ahead, I couldn't really judge. He has 228,000 miles on his car and it's all factory except a jim comforti chip. I have 94,000 miles on my car, and have installed greddy catback system. This pissed me off, I figured it was just the driver , but we switched and damn near the same thing happened. I didn't think that they were that fast, anyone ever seen this played out before?
