Hi all,

My sister has just moved down to west palm. She just got a new garmin GPS system and a MYFi XM unit for her Audi TT cab. That, added to her Valentine 1 and cell phone charger, meant she needed more than 1 power point. I wired in a temporary splitter; however, now there are fiftybazillion wires run all over the g'damn dash and her battery runs down if the car is not started every few days at least.

I am looking for a stereo shop or other shop who could direct-wire her MyFi, her GPS (I have a direct-wire kit coming for it), and her Valentine 1 so the wires are as hidden as possible, and so they all go off with the key.

I realize this is real easy stuff. However, I have seen enough hack shops screw up things simpler than this, so I wondered if anyone knows any shops in the area we can trust. I am not down there to look out for her, and she knows exactly jack shit about these things, so a trustworthy shop would be a big asset.

Also, recommendations on a good service facility for general help (non-stealer items) who won't take advantage???

Thanks guys!

I am in Miami (about 1.5 - 2 hrs away, so not worth driving down). The easiest thing to do is find a Sound Advice in her area. They are a South Florida stereo chain. They are high end , handle home and car audio etc. Obviously it all depends on the particular installer they have at the specific store, but I have seen some nice work come out of a few stores.

Try www.realyellowpages.com or (can't remember) www.realpages.com and go down to ft lauderdale, you will find more there than in West Palm.

Good Luck

In West Palm Beach there is a place called Audio Advisors (Palm Beach Lakes Blvd and Okeechobee Rd, right near Braman BMW), not the cheapest but they do quality work. If you send her there have her ask for JC and tell him that Eric Paul referred you.

Thanks Eric! Will do. I may be down there Wed-Fri next week, if so I will go by in person. If not, I'll call and send her over. Any idea of the phone#?
