View Full Version : FS Local: E36 UUC StrutBarbarian
magnetic1 01-06-2005, 01:26 AM I bought this trying to see if it would fit w/ the Advance Designs. Well they wont. UUC will give me a full refund, but I still need to ship it back.
It's brand new so I wasnt sure if anyone local was looking to buy one soon.. if so, you can save shipping and I can save return shipping.
This thing is uber lightweight.. it weighs 2 lbs!!!

BAH, it almost fit.... Rob @ UUC said they may be making some adjustments to the way it mounts.... so hopefully in the future he can get something that will fit....
LTrain 01-07-2005, 01:30 PM $200, and I'll pick it up at your office!!
Nice! So this is the magnesium version?
You're talking about the new Strutbarbarian not the old one from several years ago, right?
Sounds awesome, but I've already got the original UUC Strutbararian. Wanna trade? :D Should work on your set up I would think.
magnetic1 01-07-2005, 03:50 PM Larry,
Like I said, I can return this to UUC for full price. Im not looking to LOSE $ here... if you were looking to buy one and want to save the shipping costs thats all I can do.
Otherwise, Im just going to eat the $10 to ship it back and get a full refund.

Eric, why won't this fit with AD struts? the struts rebound adjuster just pops up a bit but the bar should wrap around the upper strut circle cutouts?
this UUC is a good strut brace fellas, it's light and rigid which is what you want over the towers...
I've got the M strutbar and it's good also, this came standard on the LTW...and you can run any struts with it, but it's also pretty expensive to replace...

Nope, doesnt fit. The base covers part of the top of the strut hole.
