The wood on the interior of my X5, or the plastic that covers it, is cracking. There are cracks by the shifter and on the driver and passenger side doors. Anybody know what the possible culprit is? The car hasn't been in an accident or anything.

Is your car still under warranty? If so, they'll replace it for ya IIRC. Our dealer replaced ours under warranty.
