I got a card in the mail notifying me that the maintenance on my M3 is up in 2/05 and offering an extension of 2 years for $500+. Is it worth it? I was thinking about saving that and just doing it myself, or taking it to Voytek since I don't put much mileage on the car and want to mod it anyway. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Since your motor is already covered to 100K (E46 M3s only), and suspension wear is not covered, I would be inclined to pass. However if you are happy with the service you are getting from the dealer, its not a large sum of cash. Figure thats 4 oil changes, one brake job, a fuel filter, and a coolant flush in 2 years maybe, plus you get use of a loaner/dealer service, and any inspections that go along with it.
I hear inspection 2 will run more than $700 in and of itself. How about belts? It always hard to tell what is considered "maintenece" and what is considered "wear", especially in light of Kevlar's post that brakes are covered.
One things for certain though, the dealer would not offer it unless the financial math didn't come out in their favor.
