The other evening I saw and heard an awesome sounding e36 M3. It was a dark color possibly black. It sounded like a sti but smooth and tight, not farty...yes an sti sounds farty. Anyone know the car? What exhaust its running?

There is a cosmos E36 M3 that used to always park near Ward Warehouse that had Hartge Classics and a Remus exhaust, but I haven't seen it in a while. There are plenty of modded E36s runnnig around though...no way to keep track of all of them.

i've seen a turboed cosmos e36 m3 at the stealer a while back.
maybe it was that one..?
but then again..
it was parked (idling via turbo timer).
so i didn't hear it in motion.

There was a '97 Cosmos M3 at the autocross today. It has a loud exaust that was pretty good, its a triflow.

His plates are APEX-L8 maybe you saw them, and this might be the same one?
