Has anyone else noticed the saying at the end of the UUC Banner. It ends saying somthing like, It makes happy customers easy. Now I don't really know how hard work on a product could make me "easy" LOL A little alcohol could make me easy though. LOL Sorry, I am not flaming, but just pointing out that either I don't understand the wordage, or it is a grammatical error. I think it sounds better without the word easy at the end. "It makes happy customers"

Everytime I see it, there's a section where it says "No Hype..."

...and I think, "No Hype? What happened to Hyperion?"

He died and went to Vegas after being kicked out of hell...

But ya, it does sound a little funny in the wordage....:dunno

i think they are saying that by working hard, it is easy to get satisfied customers. it does sound weird though.

it actually reads:

"designing Ultimate quality is hard... but it makes happy customers easy."

you're right, that makes no sense. :biglaughb

Yeah, yeah, I know... the weirding is word. I mean... ah, hell.

Considering that I almost got my BA in English (got it in something else instead), it rubbed me the wrong way too... but I couldn't think of a better way to get the concept across except to resort to "advertising grammar".

So here's an idea; two contests!

Contest 1: re-word that in a better way, and if UUC uses it, you get a cool prize.

Contest 2: design a better banner, and if UUC uses it, you get a cooler prize! (you have to follow the Bimmerforums guidelines for dimensions and size)

That's pretty clever Rob! Now we get to see what the great minds (or web designers) can do!

Are you on back-order with the tranny mounts and enforcers? I ordered 2 weeks ago and the status page still says "not sent". Just curious. Thanks

Why not just change it to:

"Designing Ultimate quality is hard, making customers happy is easy."

That doesn't say exactly the same thing.

The idea is "making customers is not easy without providing ultimate quality."

See the difference?
