Does anyone have a recommendation for a clutch kit? I have a 00 M5. I looked at the UCC package, but I wasn't sold. I instead purchased the Dinan Flywheel and found out from my dealer that Dinan offers no clutch for my car. I'd have to go with a dealer clutch. Any aftermarket clutch kits out there that will go good with the Dinan?

Did you call Dinan since you more or less put yourself in their 'ballpark'?
Edit:I would also call UUC and ask to talk to Rob.

Why weren't you "sold" by the UCC package?

It was not a name I was familiar with. I've been to there website many times but I know Dinan. I may be kicking myself in the butt later on

The UUC flywheel/clutch package is the premier option for the E39 M5
The SACHS kit is also available (i.e eBay) but has relaibility issues I believe.

After doing the prelim research, I find the best way to learn about a product or service is by getting feedback from members on this and other BMW forums.
For the most part you get honest and informed advice from the guys who "been there and done that" and on occasion from a real expert.
I am no expert, but let the folks on here know what kind of driving you do most, as you may be more comfortable with one clutch over another depending on your driving style.
Good luck and let us know what you end up getting and your feedback on your choice.
Cheers,
fw

Thanks all for replies. As to my driving, it's daily and every once in a while I'll open up pretty aggressively. Ok, maybe 2 or 6 times a week, it can't be helped. I think I'm going for the UCC as I've been reading up on them. More and more it seems apparent that UCC got it right.

Dealer was selling me what they had to offer. My dealer won't install so now I'll have to find someone who will
