I have a '97 740il black. It is in great shape but is pretty much all original (no mods). Thinking about getting new wheels for it. What do you recommend? I want to keep it reasonable..

definitely more subtle and classy... not sure what I want to spend yet. Never purchased wheels before (separate from the car that is :) . What do I have to spend to get something decent?

He means M Parallel's and I agree. That's what my girlfriend's dad has on his black/black 01 750iL.

Thanks for your help! How much should a set of 4 M Parallels run me. I saw a set of 4 (with tires) on Ebay starting at about $1100.

M Parallels are a good choice too.

I would not buy the knock off's but that's just my opinion, you should be able to buy a used set for a reasonable price. you could always go here www.bmwwheels.com for the best price that I know of, for new ones.
