I want small and lightweight wheels. It seems like we should be able to use smaller wheels, the brakes are only 12.3" rear and 12.4" front, right?
So since 120mm=4.72" and 4.75"=120.65mm, isn't that close enough that they should fit? Anyone try it?

i wouldn't recommend it.... if you try it it will bend the lugnuts (when you impact or torque them down) a little which might weaken them which is not that safe
