Hey,
I have a 2005 X5 with DSP and Navagation system. I want to install a cd changer. Specifically this one:
http://www.cardomain.com/item/ALPCHAS634
But since we have the navagaion system and the DSP, i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice at what additional adapters i need to purchase to get this to work properly.
Thanks in advance!

I think you will need the Blitzsafe adapter to get the Alpine changer to work. I think there's also a company called Soundgate that makes adapters.

Since you have DSP, you will need TWO Soundgate adapters and an Alpine M-bus to I-bus converter cable. Here's their website => http://www.soundgate.com/products/cd/bmw-mini.htm

Yes...you will also need the Alpine KCA-130B Ai-NET to M-Bus Adapter...which should set you back another $15 bucks or so. To be safe, you should call up Soundgate to confirm since I don't have DSP in my X5. All I needed on my install were the ABMW35V5 adapter, Alpine KCA-130B adapter cable, and the Alpine CHA-S634 changer itself. Good Luck!
