The cold, snow and salt are here. I've got 3 coats of SG on the car, but the weather is keeping me from applying p21s monthly as I do in the summer. Does the wax give any significant protection to the paint such that I should make the effort?

I think I read sealant is better to use in the winter months as it protects longer.

According to David's post that is parked at the top of the forum, the wax is just for looks.

if you have 3 coats of sg, you should be fine. it will always help to put a layer of wax on there though if it gets warm enough. its supposed to be in the 50's all week here in st. louis so you might be able to get a coat in this week in Chicago.
