Like the title says, I've already attempted to start but ran into a nut that would not come off. If anyone is willing to help out with the tranny swap, then I would really appreciate it. If someone can help me remove this one nut that is holding together the exhaust manifold and cats or at least gimme some advice as to how to remove this one nut I would greatly appreciate it. The nut seems to be rusted shut. I tried everything, wd-40, some special penetrating spray, dremmeling, air tools, breaker bars, everything, I need to really get this one nut removed, SOMEONE HELP! TIA!

What's up Jack? I'll be in that area tonight after around 9:30 or so if you're around. Just give me a call. Wow, surprised you still haven't gotten that nut off. At least the pressure plate fit though. ;)
Yoshi: Yeah, I know Jack so you don't have to worry about giving my number to him. He's already got it. I actually sold him the clutch and he sold me the 3 spoke wheel I have. :stickoutt
Maybe I'll go tomorrow instead with Eric? It'll be a small E36 meet. :D
I've been working on my car for the past few days. All of the automatic components of my car are out. Now all I have left is to put all the manual parts in. The wiring is FARKING easy to do. The hardest thing so far is probably removing the auto tranny and running the hard line to the master clutch cylinder. I don't think I will be needing any additional help, the rest of the swap does not seem too bad. I'll keep you guys updated though.

how much did the auto -> manual conversion cost y0u?
I think I remember moments like this when I was doing my swap. They happened every once in awhile. :stickoutt Good luck.
Thanks! I am done! I actually just raced a e39 car...not sure which model but I pulled on him a few CL's from 80-120mph driving down to Irvine. The whole swap is gonna end up costing me about $1600-1700 including various tools I bought and various fixes for problems that I encountered.
