I am replacing my rear pads and rotors on my 325i and would like to find a good stretch of road where I can bed the brakes without worrying about getting pulled over.

Last time I did a brake job I waited until late at night and drove around Campbell Industrial park, but it felt kinda dangerous. Any suggestions?

I last did mine at Campbell early on a Sunday morning, it's pretty quite there at that time...

Round Top Drive? :devillook

Last time I bedded brakes I did it on the road in front of thrlls' house. lol. I find it easy enough to do it in the roads around my neibhorhood in the late evening. I guess if you live in town its hard to find a good spot.

Early morning freeway driving. You don't have to worry about stopping at traffic lights when you're cooling them down. Just make sure no one is behind when you brake. If stopped by 50, just explain your experiencing pre-xmas anxiety or you don't know what to get your girl friend for xmas.

I don't know about the freeway -- too skaid about HPD. I guess I'll go back to Campbell. I just hate blowing through stop signs so that my brakes cool off properly, but I guess there aren't that many options. Thanks.
