I'm looking for 3/8" flat washers, but the ones Home Depot and OSH carry have too big an overall diameter. Anybody know a better hardware store in the SF South Bay (San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, etc) that carries a good selection of nuts and bolts? Thanks!

The Olander Company in Sunnyvale. I believe they still sell over-the-counter.

Yup. Olander is your best bet. You can just go in there and they'll sell you one or more of everything you need. They have LOTS of stainless steel components, too...
