It would be fun to do that if i knew i could get my car back into the garage when i'm done... there is a nice incline on the driveway into the garage... i dont think those bridgestone potenzas have great snow traction :D

Your poor car! Just kidding. On the corvette forum you would be banned for posting a picture of your car out in the snow. The mentality is no snow, rain, or any other type weather. Only drive in dry sunny days temps between 45-95 degrees.

they were fun times, but not gonna try it with my car yet, maybe once i get new tires on them, then maybe... scratch that, once i get new tires i'll definitely go have tons more fun with my car :D , back in feb, when it froze over i was in my truck having way too much fun, and then when i turned on the rear diff lock, that just made it harder to have fun, but much safer to drive home though

I got new michelin Ps2's this month on my m3 and i love them..had no problems running around all over plano in this crap weather....pepe make it go away ;)

Well i havent had many issues with my bridgestone potenza re040s, they arent bad tires, they just are very soft compound tires... i.e. they dont last very long... :nono But it is fun laying them down on the pavement and launching my car off the line :D . i think next time around i'm gonna go for BF Goodrich G-force TA kdw nt. They are great, my brother's g35 coupe has them all the way around and they are great tires, plus i can get a good deal on them, so yeah... my next set are waiting for me...

not enough snow to make an arsenal of snowballs :cool . i doubt i wanna leave my house either, cant trust the other drivers on the road....

Come to find out i have a small door ding on my baby ... damnit!! wondering if i should get the door ding repair kit or not or just find a place to take it out... damn that pissed me off when i saw it... :mad

So i think i refuse to take my baby out of the garage for a while :D

I got a door ding and it bothers me too, but I just kinda left it alone. Waiting for more door dings before I take the time out of my schedual to get them taken out. Surely enough, I've gotten 2 more since then. I think my limit will be 5.

Stoopit inconsiderate bastards.

yeah they suck, well i found the door ding repair kit for 19.99 plus s+h that isnt bad to just pull them out myself though... but if they charged like 5 or 10 bucks i'd have then do it... that just pisses me off since i havent even had my car for 5 months yet :mad

Sorry to hear bout your dad's friend.

And there are ALWAYS accidents on i-20. Don't matter if it's snow, ice, rain, or dry.. always something wrong on that freeway.

How is the weather/streets looking for tomorrow AM in Big D? I'm driving from Austin to Norman OK in the morning to see the folks for x-mas.

Oklahoma looks pretty clear but I'm not sure about the Dallas area.

thx and happy holidays. Safe motoring.

Everyone is talking about having fun, but I don't think enough snow/sleet fell to really make it slippery. It was sleeting pretty hard when I was heading to work, and then snowing when I came back, but it only seemed as slippery as it is when it is raining. Oh, and how come my wipers seemed to have warped?.. when I was using them, they didn't get all of the windsheild, is this a common problem with cold weather that I don't know about? I'm kind of a n00b when it comes to cold weather stuff having lived in Texas all my life.

Depends sometimes you get ice stuck on the wippers. I just replaced mine and the problem went away. If the rubber is old it wont bend properly in the cold.

Yep lol if this was back home people would stilll be cruzin 80mph and not think a thing of it. LOL i have seen 5 wrecks, 3 bad and two just fender benders in the last 5 hours. And the roads are not really that bad. Fun all the same though i love the snow!
