View Full Version : need help with sound system install this weekend infamous 12-21-2004, 01:59 AM Can anyone help me install a sound system this weekend into my dakar. it will be a box that includes 2 10's and an AMP and all the wires and plugs. Probably the hardest part about doing all of this is getting everything mounted to look nice. The RCAs can be a pain in the ass since the room behind the deck is very limited in these cars, but with some proper wire routing it gets done. Once the deck is pushed all the way back, hiding the RCA cable is easy. But you may wana start thinking about where you want to put the amp and your box so you dont have wires running all over the place, and so the amp gets proper cooling. Whether I do it or not... And are you sure you have the right wiring?
