Has anyone had this problem and know the fix. My ABS light comes on about every second time I turn on the car. It usually will recharge it self when the brake is apply when almost at complete stop. (Kind of the abs pulse you feel when on the limit). When it doesn't do this it feels like a light braking is being applied against all wheels all the time. If I apply the brake hard it will release. Should I be looking at the sensors or the unit itself? I am hoping someone has experienced this and can target the problem. thanks

If the ABS indicator light is on, the ABS is not functional and will not affect the braking.
Remove the controller and see if the issue is still there.
With the controller removed, no light and no power so the ABS can not be the cause of any issue.
I suspect the issue is three fold.
1 = Air in the lines causing the brakes to self apply as the brakes get heated.
2 = Warped rotors causing a pedal pulsation feed back.
3 = Worn pads on drilled or gas relieved rotors giving a pedal pulse.
My WAG for the day.

Thanks for the Wag. It's not items 1 or 2 but I am think you are on to something with air in the lines. The "drag on" only seems to come on when the car is hot and has been driven in traffic. It usually doesn't occur with highway driving where there is more cooling and less braking. I will try bleeding the brakes first. thanks again.
