So i have a friend who i am trying to help out as i dont want to see him totally fuck his car up trying to make some good sound.

So my question is for $550 what kind of system can he get, he likes bass i have noticed and likes things loud?

I am no genius here so help me out i have a really good alpine in my wrecked car that i will be parting out in a few months that i might hand to him for $50 (very good deal on his part) just to help a friend get into the right direction with audio setup.

He drives a 1991 Subaru Loyale. Yea yea its nothing fancy but for $500 and just needing a $100 clutch he couldnt go wrong as he was in need of a new car after his other one got wrecked.

The car i beileve can hold 6 speakers 2 upfront, 2 on the rear doors and 2 on the rear shelf. :cool

something around 5" i dont know the size.

If you can help please post. He first needs an Amplifier and headunit for starters.

TIA

Honestly, I dunno. $550 is not much. I can guarantee you that you're going to spend a lot more than that. Keep in mind that there's the subwoofer box, wires, etc...

Here's what I recommend as a full system.
1. Headunit
2. front 5.25" quality components
3. 12" subwoofer
4. 1 or 2 amps to power them both.

This is just a generalization. I can get into specific brands and such, but at your budget you're looking at Sony stuff :devillook
