when I lift the lever on the passenger seat to put it up, allowing rear passenger entry, the seat won't go up. For awhile I could push the seat back, lift the lever, then push it forward and it would go but now I can't get it to work at all. its been like this since I bought it a month ago, I'm just getting to one issue at a time.

It acts like its catching on the driver side of the seat, it seems internal 'cause I can't find anything obvious outside of the seat.

Anybody else had this problem? Suggested fix?

Sounds like you've got a broken or disconnected release cable. Somewhere (maybe on BCG?) there's a procedure for accessing all that stuff through the seat back... From what I recall, it isn't terribly difficult.

If you pop the back of the seat off, you can access the cables that release the seat.

ok the weather finally got back out of the low 20s and I pulled the back of the seat off - one of the cables is missing its brass colored end "thingy". The piece that holes the cable and threads onto the rod.

Since I prefer backseat passengers to be on the passenger side so I don't have to drive with my feet in my chest, I'm gonna cannibalize the cable from the driver side until I get a new cable.

I haven't even checked the dealership yet, but do you guys have any online parts sources that would sell something like this?

That's also a good excuse to have them get in the passenger side..."My front seat wont go forward"

yeah that excuse was what I was thinking - but alas, I've fixed it.

thanks for the help guys, and I dont need any suggestions on where to find the cable, cause on closer inspection I found the brass retainer at the bottom end of the cable. I was wondering how in the world it could have come off without the cable end breaking...
