Specifically what controls the NOx emissions? Everything passed except NOx emmisions while on the dyno.

Just wondering to get an idea on repair costs. (It was a smog only station they make us go to in CA now - they dont do repairs and hadnt a clue what it could be.....

Thanks,
Sonic

Make sure your catalytic converter is really hot when tested (drive around like you stole it for a bit) and replacing O2 sensors may help as well.

Nitros Oxide emissions are reduced by reducing the peak flame temperature during cumbustion. This is accomplished with exhaust gas recirculation. You may have a blocked EGR tube or orifice. The Cat Conv reduces unburned hydrocarbon emissions.
