As the fortunate owner of an e34 540, but the unfortunate user of a slushbox, I have been limited by the tranny's ability to take power. Ordinarily, an auto->manual conversion is what the doctor ordered, but considering the cost would be about 7k, that is a loong way away. However, then i heard about these guys:

http://www.levelten.com/

So i was wondering if anybody has used their products before, and what the quality/results from using their stuff was like. It is certainly a whole lot cheaper than a conversion, so if i can actually upgrade the trannie, rather than do an expensive/difficult operation like that, then it sounds like a pretty good idea.

Thanks for any info.

I have lots of experience with Leven 10 in the Supra world. Generally, they're overpriced and the quality is hit and miss.

I would save my pennies and look elsewhere for automatic trans work. Try local race shops and places that build auto trannies for drag.

Any reccomendations? If it's under the cost of an auto-> manual conversion, I'm pretty interested.
