what do you guys think about mood lighting and does anyone have it in their car already?

hmm not sure about mood lighting, but i do enjoy a little moon lighting from time to time. not to mention a little moon shine too. ;) good luck with your lighting.

ps: i'm wasting time not wanting to study for finals. hehe

No offense to you guys but the lights inside the car is a tad bit ghetto. I just dont like it.....unless you are trying to accent something you have going on inside...other than that it seems a bit tasteless...sorry to offend...just want to throw in my opinion

the 540i i'm picking up next week has mood lighting already. it's a faint red glow and it's located around the sunroof switch area. try tracking down that peice which already should have the holes and fixures. i would gander all it takes is a little wiring. read somewhere (can't find it now since i'm on my work laptop) on a DIY aobut this.

is that 540 an e34 or an e39? the e39's had it stock.

my 2003 alredy came with 2 orange LED's right by the center light.. they put a nice orange "glow" over the shifter and radio part... isnt that stock?
