I was wondering if you could help with a little local info. Some of my E38 buddies are planning on going to the Bimmergate II picnic down your way on June 2 and we were hoping to gather at the Chesapeake House Service area on I-95 before the picnic.

Do you know how far the Chesapeake House is from exit 4 on I-95 and if it is North or South of Exit 4.

Also, do you guys need rsvp's with the number of people coming or is it just, show up and you're welcomed. Thanks in advance for your response.

I'd say the Chesapeake house rest stop is roughly 20 minutes
south from where the meet is. No RSVP's are needed, see you there !!!!

Jake,
Towson MD isn't too far away. Why not roll by and grab some lunch and check the scene out. There will be lotz of bimmer folk there.

Simeon,

You know I'm in, probably with Cherry and maybe Gary and Big-H, but I sent you some details on the E38 pre-meet around 10:30 - 11:00. Let me know what you think.

Simeon,

That 9:45 breakfast would be tough for us coming down from North Jersey area but thanks for the invite. I'm planning to meet Cherry and maybe Big-H up our way around 8:30 or so. So we won't be down there until close to 11:00 or so.

Don't want to ruin the appetite for the BBQ with breakfast anyway. ;)

Thanks from me too....
I enjoyed the Gumball Rally stories but I don't think the MBNA Polizei like the M-5 drags too much.

Sorry, didn't get to take any at the Bimmergate II parking lot but there are a couple pics of our E38's from the "pre-meet" at the Chesapeake House. Check thread below:
