all of those stickers would put you in SM, and are not BS legal. Only stickers from the manufacturer, or their tuning division, are BS legal.

sorry to break it to you.

You mean the thing that will make the car start again? It was picked up on the flatbed an hour ago to go to the dealer.

Oh, maybe that's not what you meant. I'm picking up a part from someone to send off to someone else later this week.

Does that mean I have to skip the SCCA and contingency stickers too? :alright

Awesome. And not awesome. Not in that order.

Did it flood?

No, it didn't flood. It was acting like the factory immobilizer system couldn't figure out that my keys were the right keys to the car. That's my best guess, anyway, based on electrical accessory behavior and how/when the secuirty light on the dash was illuminating solid, flashing and turning off. I should know by this afternoon.

That happened to my buddy's G35. It shut down EVERYthing. He couldn't even unlock the trunk (electronic release only). It would crank but not fire.

One new ECU later, it runs fine.

When I tried to drive my 6 off the lot, the immobilizer shut me down at the first light. After the dealer figured out that I did, in fact, know how to drive standard, they said they'd fix it. The car was at the dealership for a week while they got a new PCM for it. Was fantastic knowing my new car would let me drive around and randomly shut off. :buttrock
