I'd be interested in helping start a group buy with one of the vendors for their lightweight flywheels. Maybe we could get a group deal on the stage 1 flywheels from UUC that they're trying to get rid of?

Anyone else that's interested can contact me with a PM or just post here.

Well I sent an email to Fidanza, maybe they can cut us a good deal if all of us order from them.

I would still however prefer if one of the forums sponsors could step up and give us a deal.

Anyone else interested?

Ah, still working on getting ahold of them. They're not answering emails so I will have to call them. Sorry but I've had no time this week to call because of a vanagon with a couple leaky coolant lines.

If anyone else wants to try contacting someone feel free to do so.

I know that I would definitely be interested if there was a group purchase for a Stage 2 UUC flywheel. :angel2

Awww, you guys are killing my wallet!! I just bought a new Centerforce clutch so I could get this installed for free with the clutch. If the prices are right I'm down.

US-spec M5 already has a lightweight flywheel from the factory. If you duplicated it in aluminum, you might save 4lbs - not worth doing.

Sorry I never replied to this thread I thought it just died out. None of the vendors emailed me back and after 3 tries I gave up. I had some unexpected problems (cough* subframe tore out*) that the money went towards.

So it looks like no GB, atleast that I'm setting up.

I am not a supporting vendor of the site but can organize a uuc stage two flywheel group buy for around 850 a car. Its not huge saving but better than the 1000 they charge. Im sure I could for the stage one also but I have no idea at what price. Also remember the 850 for the stage two also comes with the oem or equivilant clutch. Also discounts on tranny mounts and anything eles related could easly be included. Either send me a pm or just post if you are interested. Thanks, Cody
P.S. I am currently running the stage two flywheel so if you are concerned with performance or install let me know I might be able to help.

Darn it, bad timing for me on this one. I just had the tranny off (thursday actually) to replace my pressureplate. Hope some people get a deal though.

I'd be interested in just the UUC Stg2 LTW FW alone.

I already have the M5 clutch, just need that damn FW!
