Alright, heard some uncharacteristic creaking last night, pulled the trunk lining this morning and there is a tear in the drivers side RSM. So, i called my local dealer and they want like $30.xx for EACH E46 mount and like $13.xx EACH for the Z3 plates. That is practically the cost of the GC ones!

So being that today is the day after Tgiving, where on Long Island do you think would carry this part? (GC RSM?) I thought about RPMRacing, but i don't think they are open today. Any other places?

The GC ones are $98.00 EACH without the reinforcement plate. The E46 mounts with the Z3 plates are half that.

Thanks for clarifying. I wound up going to the dealer and buying the E46 mounts (didn't have the Z3 brackets in stock) and i replaced them today so i can keep driving the car safely. I got them to give me the E46 mounts for $48.00 including new bolts and gaskets and tax.

They'll do for the time being. I suggest looking into the Rogue RSM's.

They come with a reinforcement plate with a pretty unique design. They have inverted bolts that face downward from inside the shock tower out to the wheelwell. Makes for changing shocks that much easier.

Thanks...yeah, i know...i need to change my shocks soon (spring) and I'm not looking forward to pulling apart all that shit again!!! :nono :nono

Anyway, simple enough and at least now i'm not worried.
