View Full Version : BMW of Essex in Bloomfield has terrible service
MPowerKai 11-25-2004, 09:32 PM ok so I bring my M3 in WITH an appointment for 10 to change the tires to snow tires which I was providing and change a burnt light bulb in the tail light. So I get there at 10 and apprently they lost my appointment but they say they'll take me in for the day anyway so I'm like ok. I ask them how long it would be they say an hour and a half so I said no problem. I had a friend pick me up and I we went to get breakfast and stuff I get back 2 hours later and the car hasn't even been pulled into the garage yet!! I march into service and I was like wtf not in those exact words but still.... the guy is like oh everyone is out on lunch break but it should be done at 1:30. So I wait there and the car doesn't even move UNTIL 1:30, shit was like a kick in the balls. The car wasn't back out till 3!!! He shoulda just told me to come back at the end of the day!! Also their customer service is not that hot either. I was in the showroom for like 45 minutes and no one approached me. Terrible.
themadhatter 11-29-2004, 06:27 AM go to JMK BMW next time.
MPowerKai 12-01-2004, 12:49 AM Thanks. Wasn't that the bmw dealership on rt 22 that I couldn't find on navi?

MPowerKai 12-03-2004, 02:04 AM You know me, can't do anything myself. When do you wanna race? :stickoutt
themadhatter 12-03-2004, 05:27 AM when? anytime you're ready to lose real badly. ;)
-Ron
MPowerKai 12-03-2004, 06:37 PM seriously how much can your car beat a 2002 m3 by, it's stick.
themadhatter 12-03-2004, 06:40 PM last car was an '03 and that was beaten out by 4-5 cars. it was run from a roll and topped out at 140mph.
by the time you and I get together, I'll probably be able to put down 8-10 cars between us without breaking a sweat.
Flawless 12-03-2004, 09:51 PM ooh ooh, can I get in on the racing too?
ghatz69 12-03-2004, 10:06 PM ouch man.your gonna make this guy cry over the fact that he spent more money for a slower car. 8 to 10 cars is a wide spread. this guy runnin a stock m3 though?
MPowerKai 12-04-2004, 06:30 PM not stock, UUC short shift kit with UUC illuminated shift knob :stickoutt
themadhatter 12-04-2004, 06:33 PM not stock, UUC short shift kit with UUC illuminated shift knob :stickoutt

Flawless, you're more then welcome to join us up. I'll throw a north jersey area meet if you're interested.
-Ron
MPowerKai 12-05-2004, 02:01 AM no more vr4 or s2000 now I have the 2002 m3 and a 97 ford probe
themadhatter 12-05-2004, 11:52 AM you got rid of both of them? I'm upset, I wanted to take that honda for a sping.
you suck - sell the e46 and get a real car. ;)
PePsI BlUe E36 12-05-2004, 10:21 PM whats up s2000, i was thinking bout sellin my bmw and my winter beater ( 97 acura tl ) for an s2000, if i dont sell them i'm doing an euro swap. do you think the s2000 is not worth it ???????
ghatz69 12-06-2004, 12:14 AM haha. Ron you crack me up man. Almost feel sorry for Ray for waistin his money on an e46. but like he said, hes got the illuminated shift nob so he prob picked up like five hp from it. haha. its ashame he sold the honda. i kinda wanted to see that get roasted along with the m3.
anyways, we definately have to get some more meets goin on once it gets warmer out.

If upstate roads are clear I'm all for taking a drive down for a meet. Last year we got pounded with the white stuff but the January before there was a pretty sick meet in LI w/ about 45 M3's plus some other scrubs :stickoutt
