I am getting my windows tinted and I live in Tacoma, drive everyday to work in Bremerton, and play in Seattle on the weekends. I want to know if the cops around here harass people for too dark of a tint? I just moved here. I had my windows on my Mustang the legal limit and it sucked ace. I want a nice 15-20% tint now, so if anyone in the area knows how the po-po are please, any input is greatly appreciated, thanx!

It means they moved your post from whatever forum you originally posted it in to a more appropriate place, i.e. the Northwestern US Regional forum.
I'm not sure about the cops harassing people for too dark a tint as I just moved to the area myself. I'm trying to find a reputable place to get my car retinted to 32% (legal in WA is 35%). Was thinking of going with the Solargard HP Charcoal 32.

I have a pretty dark tint on my Lightning. I have 2000 miles so far without trouble. I'll get a prescription for window tint if I have to, from a doctor. For extreme photosensitivity :)

The cops around here have been pretty loose. I have been running 20% for the last 2 years and havent had any problems

20%, I wonder how much of difference there is between that and 5%. I think I'm gonna go with 5%.

I got charcoal black 20% tint on my Acura in 1999 from "Trust the Best" tinting. After 5 years, still looks new. No bubbles, no purple, no peeling. Lifetime warranty against defects.
