what size are the 2 bits in the front behind those swinging clips in front of the radio? i have a factory cassette radio, non business class.
do i need a special tool from bmw or is the radio bit tool universal?

i am in the process of taking off my factory wood dash kit . at this point i was able to remove all screws from armrest console section to front and am able to wiggle the console loose up to the temp controls etc. i am having trouble sliding the center console over the radio, so i assume i have to loosen those 2 screws on the radio and take it out. need some help please

They are 2mm hex keys. Some people also refer to them as allen wrenches.
