i read somewhere that ford stole their design from the 6.they did,as well as turning the audi 5000s into the taurus.after observing the thunderbird lately,it is very similar, even the kink at the rear windows.i did somewhat like the design of the thunderbird, now i realize why.i've been burned by ford in the past and will never own another one.it's disturbing that ford now owns volvo, and volvo is now starting to suffer.i drive a 960 right now while my is undergoing refurbishment.
cant wait to make the 6 my daily driver.suspension is the next project, then rims, the list is pretty stacked right now.

I think - but this may just be nonsense - that Paul Bracq (the designer of the E24) had another similar design that he sold to Ford for the 83 thunderbird redesign.
Not sure - but that's what I heard. They are styly vehicles (the T-birds) too bad they were made when ford sucked.. (when most american cars did for that matter)
I can't wait to see your 6er next year at SE sharkfest!!!
-you've got to come down.. helluvagoodtime. :redspot :alright

JC,i'd love to make to make to the shark fest.it all depends on what i can get done before then.the front suspension and tires are going to be heavy hit.i can only do it a piece at a time.maybe santa will be very good to me this year.there's a couple guys here in lexington that have been and they may be able to help me a little.we've been unable to get together yet.at this point i'd even put on some GOOD,used control arms.
mine will look like the junker, compared to the pics i've seen.it will only improve from this point on.
