I was checking out the SCCA page and saw the info on Rallycross- the street version of rallying. Does anyone around here do this? Supposedly there is a Rallycross on Dec 12th, Oakland Acres.
I know this is not necessarily BMW, but it is in the MD/VA/DC region!

.....Rallycross- the street version of rallying.
If it's what was described to me, I think it's more like the dirt version of autocross. Sounds brutal on the car.

Hey Dave-
It's not rallycross, but I know BeaveRun and VIR both offer Rally schools-you use their cars. From what I read BeaveRun's school is like $200.
I'd like to try it out!

That BeaveRun class looks like a great deal. I wonder when they're doing it...

The Beaverun courses look really interesting, especially considering the price...
I'll try to get ahold of the guy in charge and see what info we can dig up.

Well here is the word from VIR:
"We no longer offer the rally discipline with the recent SCCA removal of support for the sport.
We offer an off road experience in our corporate entertainment programs which are $350.00 per person (for large groups)."
