Another good clip of how much fun I had in the rain at the track this weekend... Enjoy...
I didn't shift as much, in order to be more smooth...

Was that the STi that kissed the wall late on Sunday?
Another great looking video! You didn't happen to get any pictures did you?
<- was in the gray E30M3 (and still soaked)

Thanks. That was another STi... I got the professional pics on CD and they are going to send more shots from late in the day...I didn't take any with my camera...

Yep, definately a fun weekend, even with the rain. The photog was in the right place at the right time, thus I had to buy a cd and splice together the series that he took of me in the grip of the spider. The spin occurred on my last run on Saturday after the rain had started (www.dpo.uab.edu/~tnagy/spiderspin.wmv) :eyecrazy

That was really cool how you did that with those pictures!!! The spider got you with his web and he bit you... :D Great weekend overall in spite of the rain.

Great vid man!! Looks fun!! Was the STI really that fast? It just seemed that he pulled hard, I know it was raining but I never thought they were like that?

this modded one was said to put over 315 rwhp and over 300 ft lbs of torque on the dyno...
Oh, I only shifted to 3rd in one spot, and kept it in 4th to maintain some stability...they are really fast; however the guy was shifted to lower gears more than me because of AWD ...I could have shifted more, like I did in the dry, but I want to be more smooth...

Impressive you were running consistant, even laps on a rain soaked course with that car. My brother owns an STi, very quick. Interesting though on the subtle but different lines you both were taking. Even though the Subbie has the AWD advantage (unlike a WRX the STi even has a lsd up front!) you were running tighter lines. Very nice. :D
