I'm loving the new headers...

Here's a short clip of what I had to play with this weekend...GT3

This was the only dry session we had this weekend, but a couple of the wet ones today were so much fun too, comparable to the dry one on Saturday...I'll put together that video later... I had to chase a modded Impreza WRX STi... w/ all-wheel drive on the wet track today...

Ced, that was kickass!! It doesn't matter if you were a better driver than the GT3 driver, that's a serious machine and you were all over him . . . congrats!!!!!!!!

I really need to head south and extend my season a little longer. Do you do any midwest tracks?

Those are the Toyo Proxes T1s... They were really amazing in the rain too... Even my instructor was really impressed with them...

Headers sound nice. How many hours of labor is it to have them installed?

Also, what type of mount are you using for your video camera? I have been looking at one that suction cups to the windshield.

Other than that, it looks like you were about 2 feet wide from most of your apex's. But, for only having 3 DEs under your belt that was pretty good.

Thanks for posting the video...very good stuff! Sounds like an SMG downshift, or are you that good with the heel and toe? Although driving skill is a major factor, it is nice to see an M3 passing P-cars. :buttrock

Thanks. We had to give up corners for the straightaways, especially the last one, in order to get a faster exit speed... The group I ran in was the advanced/immediate group... BTW, that's a window suction mount. Dealer quotes 13 hours for header install.

2:06 lap, you guys had way too much traffic out there. I was at Barber last weekend with PCA and had enough open track for consistent 1:49 laps. Jonam was there also, he was lapping around 1:45 :)

part of the clip was the warm up lap and the first str8 was right before the green flag...oh, we got much faster...

Jonam was there the weekend before. I personally know him. Put your clock down :D

Out of curiosity sake, do you go through a set of tires also? Besides the track fees, what do you find yourself paying for frequently ( pads/rotors, tires, etc.).

Well, this was my 3rd DE... 3 track events on these Toyos T1s and regular driving.. I had them since March. As you improve the tires will wear more, but I'm good for another track event on these tires... Well, I just got new Brembos...so, I haven't had any other expense like that due to wear...

Nice Man! Take that Porche to school! The car does sound great, totally different. Thanks for posting the vid. I read about that track in last month's R&T and it sounded impressive and you just confirmed it. I am running the T1-S, as well, on 18" SSR's. What pressures did you find the best?

Thks. With my suspension setup, I used 35F/33R cold pressures...

here's the extended version of that video...
