Hey guys....

Well you guys helped me with flanges turbine housing and wastegates. Now my question pertains to boost controllers. Which is better a mechanical boost controller or a electronic one?

The two BC's I'm most interested in is the turboxs dual stage race BC and the turbosmart electronic cintroller that doubles as a guage.

What are the pros and cons of the two,

Is it also true that mechan. BC's be sometimes more accurrate?

Mech. BC's work well, especially if you stick to the good name brands (Hallman, Joe P., TurboXS, etc.) However I don't perfer them unless you are on an extremely low budget. The thing I hate most about them is anytime you want to change the boost you have to pull over, open your hood, adjust the knob, make a run. If the boost isn't where you want it you have to keep doing this process to get it to exactly where you want. With an EBC you would never have to leave the comfort of your seat :)
