For some of you that read my radiator thread (http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27908) earlier... now I got
something else...
Today was a hot day in Socal... so I decided to turn my A/C on
which is something I haven't use for almost 6 months? (though I
do use the heater but rarely the A/C)
As I drive very slowly on the freeway (hate traffic!), suddenly
I hear this loud rattle noise coming from the front of my car..
It souded like as if the fan is hitting something in the engine
bay...
Anyways, it turns out that it only happens when I turn on the
A/C.... Initially I thought it was from the fan hitting the bolts on
the radiator hose clamp... After moving the bolts slightly more
away from the fan, it still rattles...
(The rattle really happens intermittingly)
It seems to be easier to reproduce the rattle if I turn or break??
Anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
For a little history... I just have my radiator replaced... my stock
pulley installed... though don't know if these two would matter...
Thanks,
