What up fellow enthusiasts. I've been debating a Thanksgiving meet for a while and want to invite anyone in the near by area to BMW meet on Sat November 27th at 3pm. The location would probally be the usual Low's Parking Lot on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington, CT. I know there has been a lot of interest in another meet and why not during the festive time of Thanksgiving :) .
I will be also filming and taking pictures of everyone's car for a small budget documentary that I am filming for my Advanced Video production class here at school. This should definatley be a good time to see everyone as well as meet new friends in the area. Let's try and make this a meet to remember. If time a date is a problem for a majority of people, I'm sure we can reschedule to a more convienient time. Hope to see old friend and new faces there!!

See everyone there at Rite Aid. Many are meeting at 1:45pm but we will most likely be there after 3:00pm. From what I understood, Rite Aid is off exit 16 from I-95 (20 yards on the left coming from NY and 20 yards on the Right from RI).

Well i live about 20 minutes from Clinton. If you want we can meet up and drive together. But to get there you take 95 South, Then go north on 91, follow 91 to exit 17, follow signs to Berlin Trn Pike, Then you are on the trn pike for about 8-12 minutes and you will see a lowes on your right hand side. We meet behind the house of panckaes in the lowes parking lot. Getting up there can be some what confusing. So i would suggest following me up.

Yeah taht seems right. If you don't meet up with those other guys the Pike is exit 17 off of I-91. There should be signs for the pike.

Just take I-95 to exit 16 in connecticut. Take a right off the exit ramp and right-aid is on your right.

Paco is the one who initially organized this event. I guess for me Norwalk is a lot further, but if we had to do it there I guess I'd still drive down if the turnout was gonna be good. I'm not sure how many other people would be affected if we move the location, some of the MA people and other more northern located might not like the idea. Plus, the turnpike is usually a lot of fun just due to the scene there and all the other cars that normally show up.

Well since everyone who has posted is in favor of meeting up in Norwalk, I don't see why it wouldn't be a problem. It is right off I-95 and faily easy to get to. However, i'm not a big fan of changing the location the night before, especially since there is a possibility of a number of people showing up at the Turnpike location. Hopefully the meet location change is not going to be a recipe for disaster.

careful, that depends on your location and where you are coming from...

If you are coming from I-95 Southbound then you take a left, but if you are northbound you need to take a right.

That way it is midway to berlin tpke and the guys that were going to go there can meet up in danbury just about as easily as the norwalk guys ...

Danbury is going to be a trek for the majority of people in CT. Though it seems as if there is only 6 or 7 cars attending, there are always cars that show up that heard of the meet or just check the forums (but don't post). I think meeting in Norwalk is the best place to meet up if we were to meet up... I just hope everyone planning on attending will check this thread before they head out

We're meetin in norwalk around 2:00 or so, some earlier some later...

Directions are simple, just get to I-95 North-bound

Take Exit 16 in CT off I-95 and turn right, about 200 feet past that on your right is the riteaid which we are meeting at...I'm PMing you my cell phone incase you want to call

Great time at the meet (except for the unfortunate incident of my pocket bike). All in all we probally have 12 to 14 different cars show up at different time of the night. Boris, you have yet to make one CT meet... whats the deal?!? :) .
