ive recently acquired a 92 325i with 150k. im planning on doing general tuneups and maintenance. rotors, pads, oil, oilfilter, air filter, sparks, fuel filter, o2 sensor, etc. im thinking about bringing it in to a bmw service center and having them look at what else may need some servicing. i feel confident in repairing or changing most parts on this car... but im just not sure what parts need replacing. i called my local bmw dealer and they're asking for 115. some ppl are saying to find an independent mechanic that knows bmws well. plus i heard its much cheaper. any recommendations?

Well, if regular maint. is was your looking for then I have a place for you. I take my car over in the Bronx, 1884 Jerome (177 st. & Jerome ave) "East Coast M Power". They only use BMW parts and they charge less. The guy in charge is Richard pretty cool and there are a few others as well.

hey my personal mechanic/friend is really reasonable with price and he is very competent ... he lives in maybrook, ny which is about 10 miles west of Newburgh. he is the #1 mechanic for a bmw garage and he has been there for 10 years. he does a good amount of sidework. if you want me to set you guys up, pm me.

Maze Auto(Dave) is the man here in bklyn.He has a 12.6sec (S/C) E30 m3 with an s50 motor.He has done many conversions,especially turning E36 325's into 3.2L cars. 1-718-221-9600.

Yeah I can second to that. Maze is the man in brooklyn and he des not charge alot.
