I'm trying to compile a list of stuff tasks that should be included in one's regular maintenace..

fill in the blanks, and any new ones to add? :)

auto tranny fluid & filter -- 30K mi / 50K km
oil change & tire rotation -- 3K mi / 5K km
coolant -- flushed once every 2 years with bmw coolant
fuel filter -- ??
spark plugs -- ??

just check out the inspection I and II guides. they cover just about everything.

Brakes fluid every 2 years
Spark plugs are done every Inspect II (usually between 30K to 40K miles)
Fuel filter should also be done every Inspect II (used to be that way, but they pulled it off the list to save some costs)
O2 sensors are recommended to be replaced every 100K miles
Oil is probally more like 5K miles if you're using synth.
I personally also believe in running some fuel injector cleaner thru every Inspect cycle.
Check oil, tire pressure and tread depth every month

ok i've never had to do an inspection .. but will soon... i looked at things like the following and all they talk about is "Check" .. no mandatory replaces ..

reread the inspection guide. it tells you when to replace.
