How can you tell? And why is there 2 types?

I believe it is simply version 1 and version 2. The second version has a location for the O2 sensors and exhaust temp probe.

I checked my SS header and there's one big hex nut on each side...so I guess it means I have V1?? Is there gonna be any complications with installing and SES lights with V1???

I'd call BMP, the SS importer. They generally are very helpful. http://www.bmpdesign.com/

The V2 headers are part number 043901 and retails for $2143.00

The SS V2 headers are not in stock and Supersprint NA will be getting them on the 2nd week of December.

do the v1s throw a CEL and the V2s dont? or what?

what exactly does "euro spec" mean anyways? I just want to know if I'm gonna have CEL on...provided that I'll have ss racing cat. Can someone please help me out? I haven't got a definitive answer to this yet.

I just had the OEM Euro headers and SS race cats installed 450 miles no CEL. The exhaust probe and O2 probes are installed. Still running stock software as I haven't gotten around to installing the Shark software.

I spoke with Chris From Supersprint today since I also have the version 1 headers. The only difference is the version 2 has the provision for the EGT sensor. He says the car will throw a fault code if the EGT isn't installed. He recomended to cut the bung off the OEM headers and weld it in the same location on the SS headers. Or get a new bung and have it welded in the same location. Any reputable exhaust shop can do this.

So a total of how many bungs need to be drilled and welded?

Well there is more than just this, there are also bungs for the rear US O2 sensors. I have the V. 2 headers and the V.1 sensors were for Euro cars since they didn't need a rear 02 bung as you plugged the rear 02 sensors on the back of the cat pipe or on the catless S Pipe. Dave.

im sorry, but once again $2200+ is fuckign insane for headers...

I know what you mean...like spending 60k on a car...when that could be someone's house.
