I will place the order within 2 weeks, so the die date will be set for November 22nd. All orders within this time will then be placed and a 2-3 week waiting time will begin for the order to go out. Fiber Images is in Palmdale, CA. There website is fiberimages.com and there are no pictures yet for the bimmers. But you can see the quality of their work on their website. These are all oem hoods.

If anyone has a FI hood pic, post em up.

yes, you will be able to pick your hood up at Fiber Images. The only thing you will need would be your photo id.

Fiber Images does not make a hood for the Z4, but if you can come up with 10 or people they would make one for it.

It would not come with the m3 hood bulge. It would be 3 series oem style.

How come clear coat costs extra? All the other hoods i have seen out there already comes with a clear coat? re: VIS

Whats the difference between the double sided C/F and the C/F frame? in order to have everything C/F do you have to get both or would double sided do both the frame and the hood itself?

This is a automotive clear coat option. Most hoods do not come with this on them, they are just wet sanded resin buffed to a high gloss finish. If you would like the entire hood to look finished you would need to go with the CF frame and Double sided CF. This would give you finished look on both sides, otherwise it would just look black on the underside due to the resin of the top layer of CF.

Just a heads up about Fiber Images hoods. I ordered a cf hood from tckline racing for my race car and it just came in. It is made by fiber images and it is TOP NOTCH quality!! I weighed it and it is 9lbs. This isnt even the full cf one which is prob 2lbs less. Great deal for some great hoods!!
