Looking for tint shop recommendations in the LI/Queens area.
I've called a few places in the hicksville/syosset/plainview - that offer tinting services. They all seem to be in the same price range (I heard they all use the same guy) - $200 and don't really offer group discounts (6 additional ppl)

I've searched the forums and have seen posts recommending NYC Tints. they offered the best price ($160).. Can anybody provide feedback on their work and quality of tint? I'm a newbie to tinting - should I be asking what type of tint (brand they use)

No, I'm not from around there. I just know John and his work. He's tinted my cars since 1995. Never had a problem with any of them.

Precision Audio in East Northport/Commack. Got mine done for 150. Pay cash, no tax.

i did get my tint done there. I did have to bring it back to retint one of my windows - and had no issues doing that. The tint job is fine - I have the common tinting issues with the borders and the dots. But I have no real complaints. I don't recall the price - I think it about 190 or 200 cash
