I have a 2000 323i and need to replace a front turn signal bulb. I am not quite sure how to proceed without busting anything. How is this done? :help

Usually you can follow the wires to the back of the turn signal, where you will grab the bulb socket and give it a twist. I will say this for sure - get a sliver-based (rather than brass-based) bulb, I have found the "Sylvania long-life" bulbs in local "Schucks" (maybe Kragen in LA) to actually be marked "osram" on the metal and work fine. If you ignore this you may have trouble with the bulb check gadget. Hope this helps. If you try my first suggestion, just take it easy, I may be wrong so don't force anything. |
