Hello everyone.

This is my first post on this forum. I need some help...I have fog lights that are hazy now from highway driving. They are sand blasted and are not very clear. I have a e46 sedan with the rectangular fogs. I don't want to replace them. I remember that there was a kit of some sort that i could buy that could restore the clear plastic fogs. It was like a find polish that could remove the sand blasted lights. I cannot find the link. Does anyone out there know what this kit is and where i can get it.

Is it possible to just replace the fog light front lense. If it is possible where can i get it and does anyone know the parts number?

Last question...Does anyone know how to take the fogs out without taking the headlights out. I don't have a bentley manual yet. Thanks for any help that can be given. I can be emailed at bmw9908@hotmail.com

I don't have fogs on my E46 yet, so I probably won't be much help. You say they're plastic? The E36 fogs are glass, so they can't be polished up (not without a LOT of effort). But plastic is pretty easy to polish. There are plastic polishing products available from 3M and Maguiars to name a few. You'll just need a drill with a buffing wheel on it. You'll need a Bentley (or Haynes or Chiltons) eventually anyway, so you may as well get it.
