I've been having trouble with my TMS/Conforti chip detonating unless I run about 1/2 tank 100 octane mixed with my 91... Damn conforti stuff has timing advanced to run at 93 octane. Stupid old me didn't find out about this until after I bought/installed it, of course...

Dick at DynoSpot got me a GIAC chip installed, and I tried it out, and was still having some detonation issues as it was.. He called up the software engineer and got me a custom chip with the redline raised and backed-off timing, and voila - no more detonation!

TMS's advice for "fixing" the detonation was to spend $1200 on the euro HFM, 24lb injectors, euro HFM adapter for my intake, and new software.. Not really what I had in mind..

Now I need to start saving for the DSR cam kit.. =]
