Hi All,

I have an 01 X5 and the problem I am having is that the wipers (which are always set on the auto detect setting) stop working. This happens as I am driving down the road with the wipers flapping, they just randomly STOP. Doesnt happen all the time but has happened twice now. Changing the setting does not get them goign again. THe only thing that gets them working again is turning off the car and starting it back up.

Also sometime they dont go all the way down when you turn the wipers off. they stop about 2 or 3 inches higer than the appropriate off position.
