Theres a wheel and tire shop somewhere in whittier that will shave your fender for $15 per side I think. Ask Mace, the guy with the totalled purple m3, he did it there.

I believe the shop is in bell gardens. Name of the shop is www.savastire.com I got both my rear fenders grinded down for 40 dollars. They did a pretty good job. No sharp edges.

I have rolled numerous fenders with bats... From lightly rolled to extreme (Vic's car was extreme). You can roll the fenders without cracking paint and have a smooth roll. Its all about taking your time and having the paint warm.
