OK gents, Hot Dyno Nights are getting too damned cold, so we are moving to a once a month Saturday format for the winter months. Saturday November 20th will be our first weekend event. We anticipate a large turnout, so please reserve a spot on this thread or via email or a phone call to the shop.

Same rules:
$85 for 3 runs with air fuel,Tshirt, food. We'll be starting at 9am and going until around 5pm or whenever the last car is done.

*BONUS*I am also going to arrange for a dent pro to be there and give discounted rates, so please let me know if you need some dents removed!

Erik I heard you were sticking an N62 into your M3? Hows the swap going?

I will have pricing on the ding guy later today with any luck.

The M62 is ready to go, the oilpan is being Tigged up this week so that I can run it as a dry sump and get the engine as low as possible. Then we mock everything up, fabricate motor mounts and start on the headers. Probably gonna be the end of the year before its running and tuned on the dyno. Then we have have to prep it for paint and get all that done.

OK folks, here are the dent guy details:

$85 for the 1st panel, $60 for the 2nd panel, and $35 for additional panels. Panels are like "Drivers Door" or "Rear Right Quarter"

This is a significant savings from his normal rates and he does TOP NOTCH work. He is planning on being there from 9am to 1pm. I need to have confirmation if you are interested in having work done so he knows if he needs to bring another guy.

Sign up here, or email me. Thanks!

wow! i assume you can have any number of dings removed from one panel for $85? that sounds pretty good...i think i've previously seen prices per ding, rather than panel. i'll check my schedule, but i'll be sure to post again if i can make it.

Hey Erik,

Can you find out if the ding repair guy will try and fix motorcycle gas tanks? They're single walled and no worry's on gas vapors, haven't had gas in them for months.

Thanks
Alvin

I will likely swing by around lunchtime with a friend. We'll both bring our cars (e36 M3 x2). I'm curious to see what my new top end does for dyno results, and this will be a baseline for my friend. I'm also curious to see where my A/F is at lately.

Hi Erik,

If your dent person can fix the motorcycle tanks I have 3 to bring in. I may also have him fix 1 panel on my wife's car.

Thanks

We will be resuming Dyno Days in January, probably around the middle of the month. Though, if you need some dyno time, just give us a call, we can get you scheduled.
