I am planning to buy the Ansa sport exhaust from Bavauto ($139.99) for my 320i.
The salesperson there told me that I need to buy the center pipe also, which retails for $84.99.

Two questions:
1) Do I need to buy the center pipe??
2) What''s the use of the center pipe??

1.) No, the ANSA is an exact OEM replacement
2.) Its the resonator, the part thats in the center, connects the manifold to the muffler ;)
